Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy machinery has a job opening for a Parts Expeditor/Buyer. Four-year degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Computer skills, excellent communication, and organization are required. Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure. The job will be in the Purchasing Department in Huntington, West Virginia.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Purchase and cancel parts as required.

Evaluate the cost of vendor parts in regard to purchases made by the company.

Follow up on cost or part deviations between acknowledgement and purchase order.

Communicate with outside vendors to expedite parts and request changes in orders.

Enter order information into computer system.
