Built Through Conversation
Fletcher's New Cab Design Focuses on Operator Needs

At Fletcher, we take pride in creating equipment shaped by open and honest conversations with our customers. Your feedback drives our innovations, and our latest advancement is no exception. The new cab design for our 3035 and 4250 models is a direct result of listening carefully and responding thoughtfully to better adapt our machines to better serve the people who use them every day.

Listening First, Designing Second

This redesign started with simple but meaningful feedback: operators asking for more comfort, easier access, better visibility, and streamlined controls. We took every comment to heart. Over the past two years, our engineering team, service technicians, and operators collaborated to turn those ideas into real improvements.

What’s New and Why It Matters

Our new cab design addresses several key areas:

Operator Comfort: We’ve added ducted HVAC, Bluetooth sound, USB charging, and even a cupholder to make long shifts more manageable.

Better Access and Visibility: A larger door and curved window improve ingress/egress and give operators a clearer view of their surroundings.

Smarter Layout: Electrified tram and steer controls, ergonomic arm pods, and integrated HVAC controls improve usability and reduce fatigue.

Service Made Simple: Filters and key components are now easier to access, minimizing downtime and maintenance hassle.

Designed Differently for Each Machine
While all cabs benefit from these upgrades, we’ve also tailored specific features for each model:
3035: A new ergonomic control layout, added joystick functionality, and a smaller, rigid-mounted screen keep controls within easy reach.
4250: Electrified boom and tram/steer controls deliver precise, responsive operation for enhanced performance underground.

The Results: Safer, Smarter, and More Comfortable
From improved ergonomics to advanced controllability, the new cab design offers a better overall experience for operators. Visibility and comfort contribute to safer operation, while
the electrified systems allow for tuning and precision that traditional hydraulics can’t match.

Built With You — For You
This new cab is more than a product update — it’s a reflection of our relationship with the people who run our machines. Every improvement came from conversations in the field, at job sites, and during service calls. Because at Fletcher, we believe the best designs start with listening.
The new cab design will debut on our 4250 models. As always, we’re committed to evolving our equipment to fit your needs one conversation at a time.
