MINExpo® 2008 is the mining industry's premier
showcase for companies specializing in every facet of mining: open pit,
underground, processing and preparation, mine site development,
exploration and surveying, smelting and refining, and reclamation.
J. H. Fletcher & Co. wishes to
thank all of you who stopped by our booth at the 2008 MinExpo in Las
Vegas. Record numbers turned out to see what the over 1200 exhibitors
had to offer. J. H. Fletcher & Co. has a long history of providing
advanced, more efficient and safe equipment to the mining industry and
the future looks like that tradition is going to continue. The Fletcher
booth attracted great interest from both the coal and rock industries
with our impressive display of dual boom Drill Jumbo, single boom,
narrow vein Drill Jumbo, Diesel Tractor, new generation CHDDR roof
bolter, and the latest technology being used in our remote bolter, the
CRDR.
Also, two papers were presented;
“Two Decades of Mobile Roof Support Applications” by Larry Howe, J.H.
Fletcher & Co. International Sales Manager, and
Harry Childress,
Cumberland Resources, and “Safety
Improvements Utilizing Material Handling for Roof Bolter Supplies”
co-presented by Bill Kendall along with Nigel Goff of San Juan coal
company.
Many attendees requested further
information on our products and we are working hard to get our mailing
list in order and information sent out.
