Coal Mine Roof Bolters (Seams less than 96")

Model DDR
Lowest dual head bolter that allows both angle and vertical drilling. Capable of installing rib & truss bolts, these machines are a must for mains and gateroad development. Available with rubber tire (DDR) or crawler (CDDR) tram system.

Roof Ranger I
Versatile single-head bolter for full production duty or spot bolting in limited seam heights. Compact design for maneuverability. *

Roof Ranger II
Dual-head workhorse for seam heights of 48"; - 96" (1.2m - 2.4m). Offset booms drill near rib while allowing a wider operator exit way toward rear of machine. Rugged ATRS usually eliminates the need to set temporary posts and jacks. Designed to install a full row of support from one chassis position.

Low-Profile Roof Ranger II
Low version of Fletcher's RR-II, with machine height as low as 25" (.635m). Wide boom swing allows multiple bolt installations from one chassis position. Short operating length allows bolting the first row of an intersection from one set-up. Independent front and rear lift for easy tramming on uneven bottom.

Model LTDO
Single-head bolter designed for reliability in low or medium seam heights. Available in machine heights of 25" (.635m) or 33" (.838m). Boom swings and sumps after ATRS is positioned for pinpoint bolting.

Model LTDO - Swinger
All the features of the LTDO but with the ability to install two bolts from one chassis position.
