Field Service Technician - Midwestern United States

J.H. Fletcher & Co., a manufacturer of underground mining machinery has an immediate opening for a Mining Equipment Field Service Technician. The skilled job will require expertise in electrical, hydraulics, troubleshooting and engineering. The territory will require the individual to reside in Eastern Iowa and routinely travel to Illinois and Missouri. The job will require driving to underground mine locations in the Midwestern region of the U.S. to service different types of Fletcher equipment. The job will require the applicant to have current training documentation from MSHA; additional machine training and experience in the operation and/or servicing of underground mining equipment is a plus. The applicant will be required to work irregular hours and complete jobs within specific deadlines. The job will include a fully equipped service truck.

General Laborer – Electrical Tech - Huntington, WV

J.H. Fletcher & Co. a manufacturer of underground mining machinery has an immediate opening for a General Laborer Electrical Tech. in Huntington, West Virginia.

The basic functions of the job include but are not limited to the assembling of J.H. Fletcher equipment electrical components such as electrical boxes, wiring harness, etc.

High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read electrical schematics, and electrical knowledge required.

J.H. Fletcher & Co., a manufacturer of underground mining machinery, has an opening for a draftsman. One year of drafting experience or two-year degree from a technical program with an emphasis on engineering or drafting is preferred. Fluid power or hydraulic circuit design experience preferred. The job will require the applicant to develop final documents associated with J.H. Fletcher & Co. product line, these documents are part, weldment, machining, casting, and assembly drawings created through 3D solid modeling. Solid Edge cad software and Teamcenter is a plus.

Electrical Engineer

Worldwide leader in the manufacture of underground mining machinery has a job opening for an electrical engineer. The job will provide the engineer an opportunity to work on and design custom systems for numerous mobile equipment applications. The job will be in the engineering department in Huntington, West Virginia.

Responsibilities will include all phases of research, design and project management. This job will include field visits where hands-on research, troubleshooting and field testing will be performed. Basic MS Office skills and basic drafting skills are required. Previous electrical engineering experience with machine control design (3-5 years), fluid power and with PLC’s a plus. Mechanical Engineer

Worldwide leader in the manufacture of underground mining machinery has a job opening for a design based Mechanical Engineer. The job will provide the engineer an opportunity to work on and design/assist in building numerous mobile equipment applications. The job will be in the engineering department in Huntington, West Virginia.

Responsibilities will include all phases of design and project management. This job will include field visits where hands-on troubleshooting and field testing will be performed. Experience with Solid Edge CAD software, Teamcenter PLM software, Microsoft Office Suite, ANSYS FEA is required. Previous mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing (3-5 years) large equipment. Possessing a P.E. license is a plus. Competitive benefits package.
