Design Engineer

J.H. Fletcher & Co.™, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of underground mining machinery, has immediate openings for experienced mobile equipment design engineers.
Salary will be commensurate based on applicable experience. Strong background in structural design, applied hydraulics and project management preferred. Knowledge in robotics engineering and equipment operation desirable.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering with emphasis in Machine and Systems Design. BSME or BSEE and completing the FE preferred.

Quality Assurance Technician

J.H. Fletcher & Co.™, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of underground mining machinery, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Tech. The skilled job will require knowledge and experience in quality assurance. The QA Tech will be required to perform audits, develop quality control compliance documents and ensure that quality control program is followed. The QA Tech will be working in both shop and office environments. The QA Tech will be working with gauges and measurement tools, interpreting blueprints and developing technical files.
Experience in ISO 9001 compliance and technical writing is a plus. A technical degree or compatible University degree in this discipline is preferred. The QA Tech will be required to travel on occasion.

Field Service Representative - Tennessee Valley

J.H. Fletcher & Co.™, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of underground mining machinery, has an immediate opening for a Field Service Representative in the Tennessee Valley region of the United States (Tennessee, North Alabama, North Georgia, and South Kentucky). This is a skilled job and will require expertise in electrical, hydraulics, trouble shooting and engineering knowledge. The territory will require the individual to live and work in the Tennessee Valley region of the U.S., preferably based in the central/southern Tennessee area. The job will require extensive driving and overnight stays. The job will require manual service work in underground mines with irregular hours to complete jobs within specified deadlines. The Field Service Representative will be required to have a current miner’s card and up-to-date training.
Additional machine training and experience in the operation and/or servicing of underground mining equipment is a plus.
